Ras Al Khaimah was founded in 2000 and today it is one of the fastest growing free economic zones in the UAE. Over 5000 companies are registered on its territory.
"Ras Al Khaimah" consists of several zones:
- Business Park - consists of 5 buildings: administrative and BC 1-4.
- The Industrial Park is located 18 km north of the emirate, only 6 km from the port of Saqr. It was created for the development of heavy industry, warehouses and energy production for domestic needs. Another industrial zone is in the south and has a strictly industrial orientation.
- Technology Park - is located to the south of the emirate near the Emirates road and Ras Al Khaimah International Airport. It was created for the development of light industry, automatic production and consumer goods.
- Aviation Park - is located on the territory of the international airport Ras Al Khaimah. Specializes in maintenance, repair and reconstruction.
- The educational park is located in the Business Park area.
RAKEZ is the first free economic zone, which began to open its offices abroad. Its representative offices are in India, Turkey, Germany and USA. It also has offices in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
The services
RAKEZ offers the following services to its customers: creating a virtual workplace or a virtual office, ready-made office space from 14 to 160 square meters, warehouses, land with an area of 5000 square meters for long-term or short-term rent, accommodation, kindergarten, training center.
