Offshore company registration

Registration in the UAE is not only the way to get tax benefits and open the bank account used in any international transactions, but also the unique opportunity to possess the real estate in the UAE or act as a founders of companies registered in FTZs and UAE.

Registration does not give the right to obtain UAE resident visa and carry out any activity in the Emirates. One of the procedural deficiencies in the law of the UAE is the requirement to enter the information about founders to the constituent documents.

Offshore company may be registered in two emirates:

• Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA) in Dubai;
• RAKICC in Ras Al Khaimah.

The following documents shall be submitted to register a company:

• copy of the identification card of the founder;
• statement of account;
• any document evidencing the actual registration address of the founder such as a copy of utility bill or any other payment document specifying the full name and registration address.

The companies are registered in the UAE through intermediary of the agents obtaining the respective license and authorization.
